PART TIME SALES ASSISTANT

For the first time in nearly two years, Ghost Whale is hiring! We have a tight knit, wonderful team and are looking for a bright, friendly & beer-knowledgable person to join it on a part time basis. This role require you to be able to work across both our Brixton and Putney Stores as a sales assistant.

  • THE ROLE

    We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person to join the team as a shop assistant. As well as helping customers and fulfilling online orders, you will ensure that the shop is well stocked, clean and tidy.

  • KNOWLEDGE

    A good knowledge of craft beer is essential to the role, along with an awareness of developments across the industry. You will be able to knowledgeably assist our customers by offering recommendations where appropriate.

  • EXPERIENCE

    Our customers are at the heart of our business and we expect them to have an exceptional experience with us. It is essential that you have experience in a customer facing role, within a retail and/or bar setting.

  • HOURS

    This is a part time role of up to 20 hours a week starting in August 2024 based at both our Brixton and Putney stores – you must be able to work at both locations. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity for increased hours. You must be available to work evenings and weekends – the hours are mostly focused on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays.
